School Social Worker
工作目標
學校社工主要為學生及家長提供適切的支援服務，運用專業知識及輔導技巧，連結學生、家長及學校，作為三方面溝通的橋樑，建構出良好的互信及家校合作模式；此外，配合社區資源的運用，豐富學生學習環境，讓學生愉快及健康地成長。學校社會工作服務內容概括如下:
Objectives
School social workers mainly provide supportive services for students and parents. Using their professional knowledge and counselling skills, school social workers act as a bridge of communication between students, parents and school. Social workers also connect the community resources to enrich the learning environment of students and parents. The school social work services include the following:
學生服務
負責辦理學生入學及離校服務
處理學生有關教育局文件
負責學生轉介/評估服務
安排學生畢業後的出路服務
提供學生輔導服務
按需要召開家校個案會議
Student Affairs
Student admission and discharge services
Handling students’ documents related to Education Bureau
Responsible for referral and assessment services of students
Arranging adult services for graduates
Providing counselling services to students
Convening student case conferences as needed
家長事務
定期舉行家長會及舉辦家長訓練活動，促進家長與家長之間的交流；與及家長與學校之間溝通及聯繫。
統籌家長教職員會、家長義工服務及家長資源室，給予空間，促進家長彼此之聯誼及互助。
提供家長諮詢、輔導及轉介等服務，使家長能有效地處理個人、家庭及子女的問題，以減輕生活及照顧的壓力。
Parent Affairs
Organize Parents’ Day and parents training activities regularly, to facilitate the communication between parents; as well as parent’s education.
Organizing Parent-staff Association, “Parent Volunteer” project and Parent Resources Centre, to facilitate mutual help and communication among parents.
Provide consultation, counselling and referral services for parents, in order to help parents to deal with child care problem or family needs.
聯繫社區
透過籌辦及參與社區活動，鼓勵學生及家長積極投入接觸社區，提升公眾人士對智障人士的認識及接納，促進相互關懷的氣氛，達到共融目標。
Communities
Encourage students and parents to participate in community activities, in order to gain different social resources. Through joining these community programmes, social workers also promote the attitude of mutual acceptance in our society.
其他事務
負責處理及申請政府/外界團體資助計劃及學生相關的福利事宜。
Other Affairs
Responsible for handling and applying student-related welfare to those families needed.
